CROCHET HOOK: from 5.00 mm to 6.00 mm depending on how tight ar loose do you crochet and what hook is recommended for the yarn you use.

HOW MUCH YARN DO I NEED?

The blanket I made is 32” by 32” (81.5 cm by 81.5 cm) (including the fringe) and I use 1 1/2 skeing of multicolor yarn (570 yd (521m) or 9 oz (255 g) and 1/3 of a skein of White yarn for the border ( 127 yd (116 m) or 2 oz (57 g))

it’s also a good idea to create a gauge swatch before ( a single flower in this case), and measure it across ( in diameter), especially if you’re substituting yarns. Every yarn even if the same weight category, is a bit different, so keep in mind that yarn weight, fiber content, and even hook brand can affect your tension and finished size.
