LACE BLANKET CROCHET PATTERN

Crochet Lace Blanket is incredibly soft and effortlessly beautiful. It has timeless vintage look, but surprisingly easy to crochet.

This ultimately cozy crochet blanket starts with a simple row of chain stitches and works up really fast creating a lacy textured surface,that gives the blanket it's timeless feel and look.

This blanket can also be called "One Stitch Blanket", because 90% of crochet stitches of this beautiful couch throw are TC stitches (treble crochets) repeating again and again - this is what is called mindless crochet, when your fingers are moving automatically and your relaxed mind is drifting away from everyday's problems.

YOU WILL NEED:
YARN: Any worsted weight yarn (#4, or 4-ply)

For my crochet projects I try to use easily attainable yarn which you can find everywhere, the type of yarn you can find in every country on the Earth.
I used JoAnn Big Twist Value in Cream

Yarn substitutes:
Premier Basix Worsted in Crepe

Red Heart Super Saver Solids in Aran

Caron One Pound in Aran

and many more.

Needless to say that this crochet blanket will look awesome in any color!

CROCHET HOOK: from 5.00 mm to 6.00 mm depending on how tight ar loose do you crochet and what hook is recommended for the yarn you use.

HOW MUCH YARN DO I NEED?

The blanket I made is 32” by 31” (81.5 cm by 81.5 cm) (including the fringe 2” (5 cm) and I use 2 skeing of yarn ( 760 yd (694m) or 12 oz (340 g)

it’s also a good idea to create a gauge swatch before starting your project, especially if you’re substituting yarns. Every yarn even if teh same weight category, is a bit different, so keep in mind that yarn weight, fiber content, and even hook brand can affect your tension and finished size.
