SAKURA SKIES BABY BLANKET CROCHET PATTERN & VIDEO

Are you looking for a breathtaking, heirloom-quality crochet project? The Sakura Skies Mandala Baby Blanket is a

stunning, circular floral afghan that captures the whimsy of cascading cherry blossoms against a serene blue sky.

Designed by JTEasyCrochet, this unique round baby blanket pattern combines delicate textures with a classic vintage aesthetic. Whether you are looking to stitch a memorable baby shower gift or a standout piece of cottagecore nursery decor, this project is bound to turn heads.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Unlike traditional rectangular blankets, the Sakura Skies Blanket is worked in a circular mandala layout. This geometric structure makes the crocheting process highly engaging, as every round builds beautifully upon the last.

The true showstoppers of this design are the concentric rows of textured, crocheted "as you go" (not appliques!) 3D pink cherry blossom flowers. These raised sakura blossoms add incredible depth and a wonderful tactile element that babies love to touch.

The blanket is finished off with a spectacular, wide lacy white scalloped border rimmed with a delicate blue edge, framing the floral display flawlessly.
